How long have you been working for BM Windows and what is your role at the company?
I started BM Windows in San Diego in 2007. I oversee the company’s operations, and also still do consultations with prospective customers, as well as conduct final inspections at the completion of the window installation process.
What do you enjoy most about working at BM Windows?
I truly enjoy working with people—with our customers, as well as with the BM Windows team. I also like being able to meet our customers’ needs and provide them with a great experience when they purchase replacement windows and doors from us. I get great satisfaction from my work when I am able to provide our customers with creative solutions that either save them money, or that help to make their homes a more enjoyable place to live.
What was your background prior to starting BM Windows?
I worked for many years in Munich, Germany, where I learned all about German window technologies. I’ve since worked in all aspects of the window business, including design, sales, installation, and project management. After moving to San Diego, I worked in the glazing industry for several more years before opening BM Windows.
What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children, as well as skiing, watching movies, reading, ice hockey, and the beach.

What do you enjoy most about working at BM Windows?
I’ve always enjoyed being out and about. In my role at BM Windows, I get to meet new and interesting people on a daily basis. I like being able to educate homeowners on our products and the differences between what we handle versus the “builder grade” products that other companies sell.

The BM Windows Approach to Sales
BM Windows handles the sales process differently than a lot of other replacement window companies in San Diego. When we come to your home for a consultation, a team member can take measurements and provide you with a quote on the spot. They can also answer all your questions, and help you understand the differences among the various brands on the market and how their quality and durability compare to one another. If you need help making choices about the look of your new windows, they can assist with that as well.
We believe strongly in consumer education, knowing that an educated consumer is typically a more satisfied customer in the end!
Finally, and maybe most importantly, our sales staff will never pressure you into buying from us. We don’t believe in using high-pressure sales tactics or creating a false sense of urgency. Instead, we give you all the time you need to make a decision. We also won’t try to upsell you on upgrades you don’t need or want. Our team is here to help you make the best choices based on your specific needs and your budget.
