In our last blog post, we talked about why we don’t post prices on our website, or take out ads that say “X amount per window, installed!” We should also mention that we usually aren’t able quote prices over the phone or by email, despite the fact that we get requests from potential customers almost on a daily basis to do so. In many industries, getting a price over the phone or by email is no problem, but the window replacement industry is a little different. There are many factors involved in pricing that make it necessary for us to go to a customer’s home, take measurements, and find out exactly what they are looking for in replacement windows before we can accurately quote a price. One of three things must be true of the San Diego replacement window companies putting out these ads: The company doing the advertising is just picking a random low price so people will call them. Their salespeople will then give them a different (higher) price after visiting their home and taking measurements. Poway Customer Happy With His Choice of BM Windows for Replacement Windows and Doors
