Because of this, many replacement window companies resort to high-pressure sales tactics or other sales methods to try to increase their chances of selling their products. While there’s nothing wrong with using certain tactics in order to make a sale, it is important for you, as a consumer, to know what is going on so you’re not caught off guard and so you don’t feel pressure to make a purchase before you are ready, or before you have had the chance to gather all the information necessary to make an informed decision. BM Windows Lives Up to its Reputation for Carlsbad Customer
Earlier this summer, we were contacted by Fernando U. in Carlsbad, who needed replacement windows and doors for his home. He had seen all of the positive reviews of BM Windows on review sites like Yelp, but said he was “guarded” and even told his wife “They can’t be THAT good.” Well, after his experience with BM Windows, Fernando came back to Yelp to report that BM Windows is that good! Fernando writes, “From the get-go at my initial call, to scheduling a meeting, to installation, the process was pleasant.” How often do you hear people describe their interaction with a home improvement company as “pleasant?” Normally, you hear phrases like, “It was a such a hassle,” or “It took way longer and cost much more than I expected,” or “nobody ever shows up when they say they will.” At BM …
Replacement Windows and Doors in San Diego with UV Protection

Replacement windows and doors with Low E glass are able to reflect both heat energy and UV rays, making them energy efficient, while at the same time protecting your home …
La Mesa Customer Praises BM Windows Employees TJ and Carlos for a Job Well Done
We wanted to take time in this post to congratulate BM Windows team members TJ and Carlos, who recently received accolades from one of our customers, Debbie D. in La Mesa, who took the time to leave us a glowing 5-Star review on Yelp. Debbie called BM Windows because she needed to replace a sliding glass patio door in her La Mesa home. We sent TJ, one of our sales team members, to her home for the initial consultation. Debbie says that TJ “…helped me decide on the best door for our home. He was very conscious of the price and the quality while explain[ing] all of our options.” Just like Debbie observed, our sales team is very knowledgeable about the products we sell, and can let you know about the differences between the various lines of energy-efficient windows and doors we carry. …
Federal Tax Credit for Energy-Efficient Replacement Windows to End in December
If you have been on the fence about replacing the windows and doors in your San Diego home, and you can’t decide if you should do it now or wait until next year, we wanted to let you know about an incentive that might help you with your decision. The federal government is currently offering a tax credit for qualified residential energy efficiency improvements, including energy-efficient windows and doors—but not for much longer! The residential energy credit gives homeowners a 10% tax credit on the cost of replacement window and door products: up to $200 for windows and $500 for doors, but only if they are installed in your principal residence before January 1st, 2017. The products must be ENERGY STAR certified, and they don’t necessarily have to be replacement products. For example, …
