We recently told you about how Anlin is offering windows with black frames that are highly resistant to fading, streaking, or scratching, and now we have another improvement to report: upgraded in-glass pet doors for their replacement patio doors.
Anlin has been offering in-glass pet doors for many years. They are a very popular add-on for our San Diego-area customers who replace their patio doors. As the name implies, the in-glass pet door can be installed directly into one of the glass panels of a sliding or swinging patio door, eliminating the need to cut a separate hole in the wall for a dedicated pet door.

To make their pet doors more durable, Anlin upgraded the flaps to use a proprietary vinyl blend. They also make the frame from high-strength aluminum, so even if you have a large dog who likes to burst through the pet door at a full sprint, the pet door will hold up with no problems!
In addition, Anlin pet doors now have dual flaps that include multiple magnets, so they close more securely than ever. This helps keep out dust, insects, and other debris to keep your home cleaner. If you’ve ever had a cheap pet door in your home, you know that a strong wind can cause your pet door flap to open and close, or sometimes the flap doesn’t fall closed quite right after use. This won’t be the case with your Anlin pet door. It is designed to close completely every time!
Finally, Anlin upgraded the weatherstripping in their pet doors for better insulation. One of the main reasons people choose Anlin patio doors is because of their insulating qualities.
