BM Windows is excited to announce that our owner, Michal Bohm has begun writing an exclusive column for the online publication, MySanDiego. MySanDiego has been around for several years, but up until recently, it was more or less a local business directory where San Diego businesses could advertise their services. Recently, however, they have branched out into providing content that’s of interest to San Diego residents.
The publication contacted us initially to ask if they could feature BM Windows in their “Made in San Diego” column, which highlights local San Diego businesses that are doing exceptional work in the area. You can read the featured article here. It does a great job of explaining our approach to replacement window sales and how we always put our customers first.
After talking with Michal and realizing the extent of his expertise in the replacement window industry, the team at MySanDiego asked if he would be interested in writing a weekly column that would help San Diego homeowners learn more about replacement windows and how to make more informed decisions when purchasing them.

Replacement window shopping can be confusing. There are so many options and so many places in San Diego that sell replacement windows. You can buy high-end windows, or builder-grade windows. The cost difference can be quite significant, and if you don’t know what you’re looking for you won’t be able to easily discern which windows are a good value, which ones are overpriced, which ones are poor quality, and so on. That’s why Michal’s first article in his new column, “Window Shopping with Michal,” is called Are All Replacement Windows Pretty Much the Same?
Replacement window products with very different degrees of quality can look rather similar at first glance or to the untrained eye. In this article, Michal helps homeowners by telling them what to look for in replacement windows, and in a replacement window company in San Diego, so they can get the most bang for their buck and the quality and energy efficiency they are looking for.
Michal has great plans for his new column in MySanDiego. Having been in the replacement window business for pretty much his entire adult life, he has a lot to say on the topic! He is also passionate about educating consumers and helping them make the best decisions for their unique situations.
“Window Shopping with Michal” will be updated weekly with a new article, so check back often for Michal’s latest insights into replacement windows and the replacement window buying process.
