What if the company that both manufactures and sells the replacement windows you purchased for your home goes out of business?

Unfortunately, this isn’t a hypothetical situation. Not long ago, a San Diego replacement window manufacturer that sold their windows directly to many local homeowners closed its doors. Now when their previous customers have a problem with their windows, they have no place to turn. The lifetime warranty that was included with the windows they purchased from this company is worthless, and what is worse, they can’t even get the right replacement parts for their windows. Homeowners with faulty windows made by this company are often forced to completely replace them at their own expense.

But couldn’t the same thing happen if you purchase from a San Diego replacement window dealer?

In order for this same situation to happen, it would mean that both the window manufacturer and the company from which you purchased your windows (your replacement window dealer) would have to go out of business, which is much more unlikely.

Buying windows from a replacement window dealer is a much safer purchase, especially if you plan on staying in your home for any length of time.
