Anlin Replacement Windows: Why We Recommend them to Our San Diego Customers

But just because a company has a more recognizable name or brand doesn’t mean its better. It may mean the company has been around longer, or it could be because the company’s products are sold in the big box stores. A while back, we got a comment on our Yelp page from a reviewer who calls himself “Honest A.” We had given him a quote on Anlin replacement windows and doors, which was apparently higher than a quote he received from another replacement window company for Simonton windows and doors. He took to Yelp to claim that our prices are too high for an “off brand” like Anlin.

One of our managers, Jim, posted a very well-reasoned response to Honest A. He explained that Anlin is a smaller, regional company, not an “off brand”, as the reviewer claimed. He went on to say:

Personally, I regard Anlin products superior in performance, efficiency, workmanship, durability, standard features, value and their warranty better than virtually any vinyl product on the market nationwide. Just because they are a west coast company does by no means make them an ‘off brand’. All Anlin products are Title 24 compliant without any ‘upgrades’ required. I don’t believe the same can be said about Simonton products.”

He concluded by asking the reviewer to make sure he was comparing “apples to apples” when it comes to replacement window products.
