Anlin Now Offering Vinyl Replacement Windows with Black Exterior Frames

Here at BM Windows, we are excited to announce that we are now able to offer our San Diego customers vinyl replacement windows from Anlin with black interior and exterior frames. Previously, we were only able to offer the option of black frames on the interior of the windows, but now, our customers can order windows with black frames inside and out!

Windows with black frames can look great in a variety of home styles, including modern homes, as well as those with a farmhouse or modern farmhouse design.

You might be thinking, “Black window frames have been in style for a few years now. Why is Anlin just now offering windows with black frames?” This is a fair question. The answer is that the engineering and design team at Anlin wanted to get the technology right. They didn’t want to start selling products that they couldn’t confidently stand behind. Instead, they wanted to make sure that they produced windows with black frames that didn’t scratch easily and that would hold up to continuous sun exposure without streaking or fading.

The team at Anlin explored various materials and technologies and ultimately decided to go with a black acrylic that is molecularly bonded to the vinyl frames during the frame extrusion process. This colored capstock (as it is called in the industry) is much more durable than paint, and it also adds to the durability of the frames themselves. They call their new black-framed windows and doors “Anlin Designer Black.”

Currently, we are able to offer our customers Anlin Designer Black in the most popular window styles, as well as in sliding patio doors. You can get replacement windows with black frames in the following window styles:

• Casing
• Awning
