Buying replacement windows for your San Diego home comes with a lot of decisions—some large and some small. Some of the larger decisions you’ll need to make are what brand of replacement windows you will purchase and who you will hire to install them. Once you nail down these two things, there a several smaller decisions that will need to be made. Most of those smaller decisions have to do with optional upgrades that you can add to your new windows.

Before we begin discussing the available upgrades for replacement windows, we should note that none of the upgrades we offer at BM Windows are in any way necessary. This is because the replacement windows we sell come standard with all the elements needed to make your home more insulated, more secure, and improve its curb appeal. In other words, you don’t need to pay for any upgrades to get great windows for your home when you purchase any of the brands we sell at BM Windows. This even includes our more budget-friendly options!

This isn’t the case with replacement windows sold by some other replacement window companies in the area. Some companies sell what we would consider “cheap” windows that then require homeowners to purchase upgrades—often expensive upgrades—to end up with windows that meet their requirements. At BM Windows, we don’t like this approach. We prefer to offer quality products that don’t need upgrades to perform well.
