The Angie’s List Super Service Award winners for 2016 have been announced, and BM Windows is among the select group of home service providers who have received the award!
You may have seen service vehicles driving around town that contain the “Angie’s List Super Service Award” bumper sticker and wondered what exactly that means. This award is given to businesses registered with Angie’s list that meet some pretty strict criteria. They must:
- Have an overall “A” rating overall, as well as an “A” rating from recent reviewers
- Have at least three reviews from paying customers
- Be in good standing with Angie’s List
- Pass a criminal background check
- Have the proper licenses for the work they perform
Angie’s List Super Service Award winners for 2016 are indicated on the Angie’s List website by a green badge that says “SSA 2016.” They are also given the exclusive Super Service Award bumper sticker to place on company vehicles or in the window of the business location.

The award is a good indicator that the business you are considering working with is reputable. Angie’s List works hard to only allow authentic reviews to appear on their site. They do their best to keep companies from leaving themselves multiple positive reviews, and also work to prevent unscrupulous competitors from leaving fraudulent negative reviews. So while the Angie’s List Certification does provide some level of legitimacy to a business, the Super Service Award is definitely a higher level of distinction.
